This video is one of the works where I explore an absurdity of stereotypes about female attractiveness created by patriarchal objectified culture. I used the instructions of how you should photograph yourself for ‘the best match’, available for women only on matrimonial websites. I decided to experiment by asking a male unprofessional model to follow those instructions in front of the camera as if he would be a woman. This video is the result of it with no a prior rehearsal.
